Development Projects

RSTF supports development projects through its project partners. These include local communities, NGOs, governmental departments, academic groups and private enterprises.
All RSTF project benefits the host community/organisation. The project itself is led by the host organisation, RSTF’s role is to act as a catalyst, financially and motivationally to get the project up and running. Projects are owned by the host organisation/communities, but during the developed it’s under the control of RSTF. When the project is finished, we will transfer the finished product over so that what you have achieved will continue to be managed and owned by the community/host organisation.

ราลีห์ไทยทำงานร่วมกับองค์กรต่างๆทั้งภาครัฐและเอกชน เพื่อสร้างโครงการที่เป็นประโยชน์ต่อสาธารณชน โครงการเหล่านี้เมื่อเสร็จแล้ว เราจะโอนให้กับองค์กรที่เกี่ยวข้องหรือองค์กรส่วนท้องถิ่นในถิ่นนั้นๆเพื่อใช้ประโยชน์ต่อไป

3) How much does it cost?

Each Project is different depending on the nature of the project, its location and duration. We can tailor made the project to suit your need.

4) What do I get for Paying?

All projects cost includes food and accommodation as well as materials and project travel cost. The project generally starts from an agreed pick up point. The cost quoted does not include travel from your home base to pick up point and your visa, your own insurance. You need to budget for extra for your own purchases.

6) Terms and Conditions

All applications are made with "Raleigh Society Thailand Foundation” hereinafter referred to as "RSTF, We or Us". You are referred to as "You or The Client".All persons applying are bound by the conditions of contract. By signing the application form you are indicating your wish to join the specified expedition subject to the following terms and conditions.

ทุกท่านที่สมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการจะต้องอ่านและตกลงในเงื่อนไขต่างๆด้านล่างแล้ว เมื่อสมัครเข้าร่วมโครงการ คุณจะต้องอยู่ภายใต้เงื่อนไขเหล่านี้

Conditions of Entry

The Client accepts that written information supplied is provided in good faith and based on the knowledge and information available to us prior to publication of the written material and sometimes months prior to the date of departure.

For booking we require a non-refundable deposit to secure your placement. This is non-refundable unless RSTF is unable to offer you, otherwise the sum will form part payment of the full cost.The final balance is due 60 days prior to departure date. Should this not be received we reserve the right to regard the booking as cancelled by The Client. Your acceptance onto an expedition is on the understanding that The Client should realise the possible discomfort and frustration during the Project. Please be prepared to cope with the unexpected and local food & customs. Common sense and a sense of humour will help.

The Project

Once a booking has been confirmed and deposit paid, RSTF guarantees not to surcharge on the price of the expedition providing the original parameters and the scope of the Project is unchanged. However, such guarantee does not cover increases in additional purchases, last minute request by The Clients. Visa, airfare, government taxes, toll charge or local operator costs which are beyond the control of RSTF. RSTF reserves the right to make alterations to a Project without notice including alterations to the Project itinerary, however RSTF will endeavour to consult or inform The Client of any changes.

RSTF project Leader will endeavour to consult or inform The Client of any changes. However the decision of the RSTF Project Leader will be final on all matters relating to the organisation, progress, safety, and well-being of the Project, and the Client must comply with all reasonable requests of the RSFT Project Leader.

A booking is accepted on the strict understanding by The Client that the laws, customs, foreign exchange and drug regulations of Project countries visited will be fully complied with. A Client found violating such laws and regulations or otherwise interfering with the well-being of the group or expedition may be required by the Project Leader to leave the Project without recourse.

The Client agrees to abide by the terms and conditions of all carriers concerned with the Project.

เมื่อท่านได้สำรองที่นั่งและชำระมัดจำแล้ว ราลีห์ไทยได้การันตีราคา ซึ่งไม่รวมถึงการเพิ่มเติมภายหลังนอกเหนือจากที่ตกลงกัน วีซ่า ตั๋วเครื่องบิน ภาษีต่างๆ ค่าธรรมเนียมของรัฐบาล ที่อยู่นอกเหนือจากความควบคุมของราลีห์ไทย เราอาจต้องเปลี่ยนแปลงรายการบางอย่าง เช่น โปรแกรมการเดินทางโดย ไม่บอกล่วงหน้าแต่จะแจ้งให้ทราบในทุกขั้นตอน

เราต้องคำนึงถึงความปลอดภัย ความสะดวกของทุกท่านเป็นหลัก ทุกท่านที่เข้าร่วมโครงการจะต้องอยู่ภายใต้กฎหมายของประเทศนั้นๆ ถ้าฝ่าฝืนจนขนาดทำให้คนอื่นต้องเสียหายร้ายแรงหรืออยู่ภายใต้อันตราย ราลีห์ไทยสงวนสิทธิ์ที่จะให้ออกจากโครงการได้ตลอดเวลา

Liability
We will not accept any responsibility for any illness, accident or loss, weather conditions, fire, civil or military disturbance, criminal activity, industrial action, mechanical breakdown, quarantine, border closures, government intervention or force majeure. Although such circumstances are beyond our control we shall make every effort to provide prompt assistance if you are in difficulty. Should it become necessary to abandon an expedition because of such an event RSTF will be entitled to retain such monies received necessary to cover costs incurred. We exclude any liability for all representations other than fraudulent.RSTF accepts no responsibility for the loss of personal property, and insurance to cover loss of personal property by theft or accident is also recommended. The Client agrees to indemnify RSTF in respect of any accident, personal injury, loss of life or damage to property sustained by the Client during the course of the project.RSTF requires all Clients to sign a Liability Wavier Form BEFORE the start of the Project and RSTF reserve the right to refuse participation without compensation by The Client if he or she refuses to sign <Limited Liability Form>

ถึงแม้เราจะพยายามทำโครงการให้ปลอดภัยและดูแลสุขภาพของท่านท่านให้ดีที่สุด เราจะมีการช่วยเหลือเบื้องต้นเมื่อเกิดกรณีเจ็บป่วยหรืออุบัติเหตุและดูแลการนำส่งโรงพยาบาล แต่ราลีห์ไทย จะไม่รับผิดชอบใดๆ ต่อความเจ็บป่วย การเสียชิวิต อุบัติเหตุ ดินฟ้าอากาศ สงครามกลางเมือง ทางทหาร การโจรกรรม การนัดหยุดงาน การที่เครื่องจักรขัดข้อง การกักกันโรค การปิดด่านหรือพรมแดน การแทรกแซงของรัฐบาลหรือเหตุฉุกเฉินอื่นๆ ซึ่งอยู่นอกเหนือความควบคุมของเรา เช่นแผ่นดินไหว สึนามิ เป็นต้น ราลีห์ไทยจะพยายามทุกวิถีทางเพื่อช่วยเหลือท่าน แต่เราไม่รับผิดชอบต่อการสูญหายของทรัพย์สินต่างๆ ผู้เข้าร่วมโครงการจึงต้องจัดทำประกันภัยเอง และต้องเซ็นต์แบบฟอร์มด้านล่างก่อนที่จะเข้าร่วมโครงการ

อาสาสมัครควรมีสุขภาพแข็งแรง ฉีดวัคซีนให้เรียบร้อยก่อนเดินทางและนำยาส่วนตัวมาเอง ราลีห์ไทยขอสงวนสิทธิ์ ในการขอดูเอกสารต่างๆเช่นใบรับรองแพทย์ หรือในกรณีโครงการทางทะเล ต้องมีใบอนุญาตดำน้ำ ถ้ารู้สึกไม่สบาย สามารถแจ้งเราได้ตลอดเวลา เราจะมีกระเป๋ายาสำหรับยาทั่วไป แต่เราแนะนำอาสาสมัครให้นำยาส่วนตัวมาเองด้วย ถ้าต้องการอาหารพิเศษ หรือ แพ้อาหารอะไร กรุณาแจ้งล่วงหน้าเมื่อสำรองที่

Insurance

The Client must obtain accident and medical insurance themselves. In addition The Client if from overseas should consider insurance on cancellation, curtailment, repatriation, legal expenses, medical and emergency travel, personal accident, personal liability, rescue and assistance, hijack , lost luggage and travel delay.

The Client accepts that all Project involve an element of personal risk and are of a potentially hazardous nature and that neither RSTF nor its agents can be held liable for any inconvenience, injury, damage to property or loss of life caused. The Client accepts responsibility for all risks involved.

ทุกท่านควรมีประกันอุบัติเหตุและประกันสุขภาพ อาสาสมัครจากต่างประเทศควรมีประกันการยกเลิก การเดินทางกลับฉุกเฉินเมื่อเจ็บป่วย อุบัติเหตุ รวมทั้งในกรณีการจี้เครื่องบิน กระเป๋าหาย และดีเลย์

RSTF may refuse, unless prior agreement made for The Client to joins after the designated departure date or leaves before the specified arrival date, In this case, no refund will be made. Additional charges for pickup or send off will incurred that is to be payable to RSTF BEFORE departure.

No refund will be made. Clients are advised to arrange travel insurance on booking in order to provide cover for these charges in the event of cancellation or delay.When cancellations occur as a result of circumstances which are beyond the reasonable control of either party then the loss lies where it falls.

ระหว่าง 28-20 วันก่อนการเดินทาง 75%
ระหว่าง 21 วันถึงวันเดินทาง รวมทั้งการไม่มาปรากฎตัว 100 %

การยกเลิกต้องทำเป็นลายลักษณ์อักษร ท่านสามารถโอนมัดจำที่ชำระแล้วไปยังโครงการอื่นๆได้ ภายใน 12 เดือนหลังจากวันที่สำรองทีนั่ง โดยต้องชำระค่าโอน 1000 บาท ในกรณีที่เกิดขึ้นได้น้อยมาก คือทางราลีห์ไทยยกเลิกโครงการ จะคืนเงินทั้งหมดให้กับทุกท่านโดยไม่ชำระค่าธรรมเนียมธนาคารและการโอนเงินระหว่างประเทศ ทางราลีห์ไทยจะไม่มีการคืนเงิน ยกเว้นในกรณีที่ตกลงกันไว้ก่อนว่าจะกลับก่อนเสร็จสิ้นโครงการ ในการรับส่งที่ตกลงกันก่อนโครงการ จะไม่คืนเงินเช่นเดียวกันในกรณีที่เครื่องดีเลย์หรือเหตุสุดวิสัยอื่นๆ

Working Adults

People who take their career breaks can be twenties something stretching to well into retirement age! Some just wanted to make their holiday more meaningful others are between jobs and wanted to do something different, what ever this may be, Raleigh Society Thailand Foundation can do something for you.

Raleigh Society Thailand project gives you the chance to experience life in challenging setting. The skills that you have are invaluable to development and can have a direct impact in the area where you are living.

Teachers are scarce in rural communities, meaning education standards are often not at a good, with large class sizes and little encouragement for the pupils.

As a volunteer you can take your education, bright ideas and develop the potential of the children in your classes.

Besides teaching, you could also choose to participate worthwhile building projects. You may be building a school, a clinic, toilets or water drainage, help to preserve the environment and work on wildlife protection projects.

Whatever the project may be, it will have a direct local impact and benefit the community life. Without the money that your presence will bring and your assistance, it would not be possible for projects like this to go ahead.

Raleigh Society Thailand, can help you put together the perfect career break itinerary for you. Whatever option/s you choose, from a short 2 weeks Project to a year long job placement, we’ll ensure we give you the right support in planning your break.

The reasons for taking a career break vary but generally it's because there is a desire to challenge yourself, escape the routine, learn more about yourself and the world, get over a difficult period in your life, enhance your CV, explore what it is you might really want from life, try something totally different, see a bit of the world, do something great with an unexpected windfall, learn a new skill, fulfil a long-held dream.
